Za'atar Hummus

This quick and simple hummus will make you think twice about spending money on hummus outside your home. We love this flavor combination. When paired with pita, this makes this a complete protein snack or meal.

1 can chickpeas, drained

1/3 cup olive oil

1/2 lemon, juiced

1 Tablespoon Za'atar

1 Tablespoon light tahini

1/2 -1 garlic clove

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

Method

Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth. Taste and adjust seasoning to determine if more garlic, salt, lemon juice etc. is needed. Keeps for up to 3 days in the refrigerator and also freezes well for up to 1 month.
