Sesame Soy Asparagus

This a flavorful way to enjoy roasted asparagus, which is packed full of flavor and delicious as a side dish. Enjoy

1 bunch asparagus

1 Tablespoon toasted sesame oil

1 Tablespoon soy sauce

1 Tablespoon lime juice (or rice vinegar)

1 teaspoon chili flakes

1 small garlic clove, thinly sliced

Method:

  1. Preheat oven 350F/180C convection fan (or 390F/200C regular oven).

  2. Rinse the asparagus and snap off the woody ends and compost.

  3. In a small bowl, whisk together all the dressing ingredients.

  4. Lay the asparagus on a baking tray with sides and drizzle the dressing over.

  5. Roast until nicely browned and crispy, approximately 8-10 minutes (depends on how thick the spears are).
