Buffalo Wings

I love crispy, fried food - but I’m not one that can warrant seldom used kitchen appliances and the plastic used to create them. Did you know that your kitchen oven most likely has fan/convection bake? Did you know that this setting will produce almost identical results to an air-fryer? Yes, it’s true! You don’t need another appliance that’s too large to store in your kitchen.

4lbs/2kg chicken wings/drumettes

1/2 cup butter

1/2 cup Frank’s Red Hot Sauce

Dipping sauce:

1 cup Greek yogurt

1/3 cup blue cheese crumbles

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven 425F/220C.

  2. Line a baking tray (with sides) with a silpat or parchment paper.

  3. Place the wings on the baking tray and roast approximately 45 minutes, turning halfway through.

  4. In a medium saucepan over low heat melt the butter and stir in Frank’s Red Hot Sauce.

  5. Toss the wings in a very large bowl and drizzle with the sauce to coat. Repeat until all are coated.

  6. Serve on a platter with celery and carrot sticks and dipping sauce. Enjoy
